Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) would be initialled on Friday. Much job has been done and this evening delegations will receive a final draft so that they can consider it once again and make some minor changes. I believe that tomorrow we shall be able to initial the document, Petritsch said at the end of the penultimate day of two-week-long negotiations held in Vienna. According to Petritsch, some details which have still been

On Thursday evening the longest talks were held between Petritsch,
Arthur Watts, who is an international mediator in the talks and
Croatia's delegation. Petritsch explained it as the Croatian
delegation's necessity to consult Zagreb about some details.
The Croatian delegation's head, Bozo Marendic, told Croatian
reporters that chances for reaching agreement had risen.
According to unofficial announcements, the talks will resume at
09.30 am tomorrow and the ceremony of initialling the document is
likely to be held an hour later.
