ZAGREB, May 9 (Hina) - On the occasion of the Day of Victory of Fascism and Europe Day, Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan issued a statement saying: "the entire democratic world today symbolically marks the victory over fascism,
remembering, beyond a doubt, the darkest pages of the history of our civilisation". "It is necessary to refresh the memory of the dark ages of mankind in order to protect the greatest values of the free world. Even today we should be upset and concerned about the signs similar to the signs of fascism - symbols, words or action", Racan said.
