ZAGREB, April 22 (Hina) - The family of the killed Vjeko Slisko has
offered a reward of one million kuna for information about who put a
contract out on Slisko.
The reward will be given to everybody who can provide the police
with information and evidence on the ground of which the police may

A month ago, James Capau fired several bullets at Slisko in the
downtown Zagreb. In the showdown Slisko's bodyguard, Ivica Bertic,
wounded Capau as well. Both Capau and Slisko, who were in a critical
condition, were hospitalised. A few days later they died of wounds.
Slisko is believed to have been one of bosses in the Zagreb
underground.
On Saturday the police reported that they discovered two
accessories to the murder of Vjeko Slisko. One of the discovered
accomplices, Samir Ivosevic, was arrested and taken in custody. The
other accomplice is Marko N. after whom an arrest warrant has been
issued. The police assume that Marko N. organised the
assassination, namely that he hired Capau, who lately included
Ivosevic. According to the police, Ivosevic followed Slisko on the
day of murder and informed Capau about his movements.
The Sliskos welcomed the police's statement that they discovered
two accessories to the assassination.
The Slisko family has pressed charges against still unknown persons
who ordered the contract killing and accomplices, in the State
Prosecutor's Office in Zagreb.
