39-year-old Milomir Stakic, former war-time mayor of the north-western Bosnian town of Prijedor, was arrested by Serb police on Thursday evening on the basis of a request issued by the justice ministries of Serbia and Yugoslavia. Police have said the request refers to the arrest of two persons from sealed indictments of the Hague tribunal, but do not state the identity of the other person or if it was arrested.
