BELGRADE, March 3 (Hina) - A Croatian Serb political delegation left Belgrade after their first official visit to Yugoslavia encouraged the mother country will show more care for its minority in Croatia. "There's been enough of the
embellishment policy. It is time the active minority policy became a contribution to the normalisation of relations between the two states," Milorad Pupovac, the president of Croatia's Serb People's Council, told Yugoslavia's Vecernje Novosti daily of Saturday. He believes it is insufficient to have "one or I don't know how many" representatives in the Croatian parliament if "the issues of property restitution, house rebuilding, and uncontrolled arrests of Serbs aren't settled." Pupovac called on Orthodox priests in Yugoslavia to return, reminding them "a good majority of the people (Croatian Serb refugees) have returned to Croatia."(hina) ha
