SARAJEVO, March 22 (Hina) - The United Nations' High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is registering an increasing number of Macedonian citizens arriving in Bosnia-Herzegovina, but nobody has yet applied for refugee status or asked
any aid, a spokeswoman for the UNHCR in Bosnia, Aida Feraget, said on Thursday. She confirmed that 115 persons holding Macedonian passports had entered Bosnia near Zvornik (at the Bosnian-Serbian borderline) this morning. Earlier this week three busses with passengers from Macedonia passed the same border crossing. All of them said they were going to visit their relatives or friends and that they would be settled in Sarajevo. The UNHCR spokeswoman confirmed that those were only Macedonian Albanians arriving mostly from the area of Tetovo. None of them said that they had been forced to flee the area.
