According to the State Department spokesman Richard Boucher's statement, which the US Embassy in Sarajevo issued this evening, the decision of Austrian diplomat Petritsch is the adequate response to the unconstitutional activities taken by Jelavic and other extremist elements within the HDZ BiH. BiH) from their public and party duties.

The High Representative's decision is not against the Croat people

The US Embassy added that the international community would go on
with bids to ensure the protection of the rights of the Croat people
in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the door would be open for cooperation
