ZAGREB, Feb 4 (Hina) - The results of an investigation of an explosion at Zagreb's Mirogoj cemetery are undetailed, head of the Zagreb police department Ivan Babic said on Saturday and added it was difficult to discover the
perpetrator considering there were no fingerprints and the incident took place in the open. Babic reminded that the perpetrators of similar crimes have not yet been discovered. The Zagreb police is conducting a thorough investigation on the explosion. Individuals who have already committed similar crimes are under police surveillance and their alibis are being checked out. According to Babic it is difficult to establish how many explosive devices have been used. He added however the work was done by professionals and not
amateurs.
After the investigation, it was established that also damaged in
the explosion was a house near the cemetery, at which seven windows
were broken.
The explosive was planted near the national heroes tomb at Zagreb's
central cemetary of Mirogoj and it went off at about 05.35 pm
Thursday.
According to first police reports, nobody was injured in the
blast.
