PETRITSCH COMMENDS SLOVENIA'S INVESTMENTS IN BOSNIA

LJUBLJANA, Feb 2 (Hina) - Slovenia has a very important role in the process of peace-building in Bosnia-Herzegovina, said the international community's High Representative to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Wolfgang Petritsch, who met Slovenia's highest officials in Ljubljana on Friday. Petritsch stressed at a news conference Slovenia had made investments in Bosnia-Herzegovina at a time when making investments was rather risky, thus demonstrating regional responsibility for its neighbours. Slovenia could set an example for successful economic reforms and drawing closer to the European Union, he added. Slovenia is practically part of the EU and that is the most important message for people in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Petritsch said.
