ANKARA, Jan 19 (Hina) - On the last day of his visit to the Turkish armed forces, Croatian Navy commander Vice Admiral Vid Stipetic and Turkish Defence Minister Sabahettin Cakmakoglu on Friday held talks on advancing bilateral
cooperation and other issues of joint interest. The Turkish defence minister took the opportunity to invite Croatian counterpart Jozo Rados to visit Turkey. Stipetic and Cakmakoglu assessed that after Croatia's admission last year to NATO's Partnership for Peace programme, joint military cooperation contributed to peace and security in the Adriatic as well as the entire Mediterranean region.
