LJUBLJANA, Jan 18 (Hina) - Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel on Thursday extended an invitation to his Croatian counterpart Tonino Picula for talks in Ljubljana next month, the Slovene Foreign Ministry reported. The interest of
the citizens of Slovenia and Croatia is that of peace, equal cooperation and good neighbourly relations, which demands for a solution of problems burdening our two states' relations as soon as possible, Rupel said in his letter. He said Slovenia's interest for solving outstanding issues was "strong and clear", adding that according to information at hand, the same interest was present on the Croatian side.
