ZAGREB, Feb 1 (Hina) - The Croatian Atlantic Council, an association established last year with the purpose to promote EuroAtlantic ideas, on Thursday held its first meeting to acquaint military and political experts as well as
reporters with its goals and a plan for this year. "Our objectives are to promote EuroAtlantic ideas, come closer to NATO and European integration processes," the Council's head, Radovan Vukadinovic said. Vukadinovic explained that activities of this association would be to act in an educational manner and inform the public of problems and resolutions in the fields of the peace and security in international relations. It will also study the work of international organisations for ensuring peace and security and put particular emphasis on trans-Atlantic ties within NATO.
