ZAGREB, Feb 2 (Hina) - Sabor Speaker Zlatko Tomcic, on Friday received Dutch Ambassador to Croatia, Ida Leonore Van Veldhuizen- Rothenbucher, the Croatian parliament's public relation office reported. The Ambassador of the Netherlands
asked Tomcic about his opinions on last November's Summit of EU member-states and southeastern European countries and about forthcoming local elections in Croatia. Tomcic told her that in his mind the Summit was a very good event for Croatia, which started negotiations with the European Union on a Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) on that occasion. The EU showed then that it had no intention of creating a new Balkan state association, he added. As regards the local elections, Tomcic expected the ruling six-party coalition would have very good results. He and the Dutch diplomat agreed that the return of refugees was a necessary condition for the peace
