ZAGREB, Feb 2 (Hina) - Zagreb police on Friday preferred charges against still an unknown perpetrator who yesterday planted an explosive device under the monument to the anti-Fascist fighters at the central cemetery of Mirogoj. The
charges were handed over to the competent office of the State Prosecution against the unknown perpetrator for having exposed lives and property to jeopardy, Zagreb police superintendent, Ivan Babic said. The grave of anti-Fascist fighters was considerably damaged in the blast of the explosive device of the unknown kind at about 05.35 pm Thursday. There were no injuries. Babic said the exact amount of the explosive material planted under the monument had yet been established. One plate of the monument cracked and another was moved. The charges were handed over to the competent office of the State
Prosecution against the unknown perpetrator for having exposed
lives and property to jeopardy, Zagreb police superintendent, Ivan

dollars)
The police are continuing to investigate the case on the spot. Babic
expected that the on-the-spot investigation would end by 03.00 pm
today.
The police are also interviewing people who were near the site at
the moment of the explosion.
Asked whether there were several blasts in the city yesterday,
Babic said there was only this one but owing to its strong
detonation some citizens thought that another devices had gone off
near them.
