ZAGREB, Jan 11 (Hina) - The investment company Sutivan Investments Anstalt from Liechtenstein has confirmed in the press that it owns a total of 80.34 percent of votes in the main assembly of the hotel company Plava Laguna from the
northern Adriatic resort of Porec. It has thus been officially confirmed that the majority owner of Plava Laguna is Croatian emigrant Andronik Luksic, who acquired 65 percent of Plava Laguna shares in early May last year. The Luksic group also had an agreement on the purchase of 16.3 of shares from the portfolio of Privredna Banka Zagreb and thus acquired 80 percent of votes in the Plava Laguna assembly. It was reported that the group paid about 260 million kuna (about DM 66.66 million) to small shareholders and would pay some 400 million kuna (DM 102.5 million) for the entire majority package.
