IBM would continue to pay special attention to the education of its personnel, as well as its users, on the possibilities of state of the art computer technology in the development of business, and would continue the cooperation with Croatian business people in raising the level of information and introducing the Internet in Croatia, as well as assisting with donations to health and educational institutions. Vidakovic told a news conference Monday the IBM would continue to

IBM has been present at the Croatian market since 1935 as Hollerith
d.d. and since 1995 has been known as IBM Hrvatska d.o.o., a company
which is fully owned by the IBM Corporation. IBM Croatia employs
some 110 people, 108 of whom are Croatian citizens.
Along with its main office in Zagreb, the company has offices in
Rijeka, Split, Osijek, Dubrovnik and Pula, which, IBM officials
said, secured the coverage of the entire Croatian territory.
