OSIJEK AIRPORT OSIJEK, Jan 6 (Hina) - About six million German marks should be ensured for the reconstruction of the war-devastated airport of Klisa outside the eastern Croatian city of Osijek. The costs do not include the purchase
the navigation system and a control tower, as most of this equipment has already been obtained thanks to Croatian air traffic control authorities whose duty is to ensure it. They are now waiting for the start of the reconstruction of the airport to send and install the necessary equipment. In late December, 5,250,000 kuna were earmarked for the Klisa airport from the state budget. depend on the capabilities of the new management.
The supervisory board is expecting that the resumption of business
activities of the airport will help renew the economic relations
between Osijek-Baranja County and its partners such as Islamic
countries in northern Africa and other states.
