The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the Crvena Zvezda
basketball club had distanced itself from the incidents and
notified the Croatian Embassy in Belgrade about this.
The Foreign Ministry told Curgus it expected competent Yugoslav
institutions to officially take a stand on the matter because
similar incidents had been occurring lately when the two countries'
teams met on sports fields.
