The veterans and members of the families of killed soldiers
protested against the non-payment of their pensions for October.
The competent ministry in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina had
stopped earmarking funds for this purpose, insisting on
comprehensive lists of beneficiaries.
The leader of the central war veterans' association, Andjelko
Barun, announced that round-the-clock blockades would continue
tomorrow and during the Christmas holidays until the pensions were
paid.
