MOSTAR, Dec 18 (Hina) - Bosnia's Catholic Church primate, Sarajevo Archbishop Vinko Puljic, on Wednesday called on representatives of the international community to take part in overcoming the difficulties faced by Homeland War
soldiers and victims in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina (Croatian component). They have been occasionally blocking border crossings and roads to Croatia for the past three days protesting against unpaid disability benefits. They said they would hold round the clock blockades on Thursday.

Cardinal Puljic criticised representatives of the incumbent
authorities, the Alliance for Changes, because in the time of the
so-called technical government, prior to the transfer of
authorities and ahead of Christmas, they were trying to solve the
issue of victims even though they had two years to deal with the
problem. Cardinal Puljic said this was "pre-Christmas provocation
and a political game".
