Both sides expressed readiness to strengthen their cooperation.
"We are particularly interested in military-technical
cooperation, because our army also uses Swedish military
equipment," Stipetic said after the meeting.
Croatia will significantly benefit from Sweden's experience in UN
peace operations, in which it has been frequently participating
lately, Stipetic said.
The commander of the Swedish Armed Forces, General Johan Ivar
Hederstedt, supported Croatia's bids to join the European Union and
NATO.
After the meeting, Defence Minister Antunovic organised a
Christmas party for military attaches accredited to Croatia.
