"If the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), the Party of Democratic
Action (SDA) and the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) indeed form the
authorities together, Bosnia's, primarily Bosniaks' and Croats'
prospects are grim, and I fear for the fate of my (Croat) people. We
will be discarded by the international community. It is incredible
how representatives of the HDZ and SDA have once again fallen for
the tricks of SDS's leaders," Anic said in an interview for
Tuesday's issue of Croatia's Slobodna Dalmacija daily.
According to Anic, "the HDZ leaders are conscientiously entering a
coalition with the SDS because they maintain hopes of a third
entity, naturally without Croats from Central Bosnia and Posavina,
and on the other hand, a coalition with the SDA means the
radicalisation of the situation in Central Bosnia, that is, the
rule of fear and terror".
The defence minister warns that Croats will leave Central Bosnia
and claims that the leaders of national parties are not interested
in national or state interests, but exclusively in covering up
crime and terrorism, as well as the origin of their illegally
acquired wealth.
