The agreement is a new encouraging step towards normal, good-
neighbourly relations, Annan said.
Reminding that the UN Mission of Observers on Prevlaka (UNMOP)
lasted 10 years, Annan said the observers could leave as their
mission had been successfully accomplished.
The UN Secretary-General said the UNMOP was proof that a small UN
mission, if organised and implemented adequately, could yield
positive results.
