Following the meeting that was closed to the public, a brief
demonstration of their capabilities to participate in that mission
was held.
The 44 Croatian military policemen, including four women, will be
deployed to the mission for three months next year. As opposed to
Croatia's members who participated exclusively as unarmed
observers so far, these military police officers in Afghanistan
will be allowed to carry arms.
