Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Balien warned that
election regulations could not be changed once elections were
over.
The head of the OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in
Europe) Monitoring Mission to Belgrade, Nikolai Vulchanov, added
that electoral rolls should be revised prior to the next elections
and not now because voters could not be erased from lists after an
election.
The OSCE estimates that the elections were democratic and free,
however, the candidates did not reflect the entire Serbian
political scene.
