ZAGREB, Nov 30 (Hina) - The artistic achievement awards of the Vjesnik daily for 2001 were presented at a ceremony in Zagreb on Saturday. The literary award "Ivan Goran Kovacic" was presented to painter and writer Josip Vanista for
his "Knjiga zapisa" (unofficial translation Book of Notes), published by the Zagreb Modern Gallery and the Kratis publishing house. The theatre art award "Dubravko Dujsin" went to Rene Medvesek for his play "Brat magarac" (unofficial translation Brother Donkey), which premiered in 2001 at the Zagreb Youth Theatre. The visual arts award "Josip Racic" went to Sanja Ivekovic for her sculpture "Lady Rosa of Luxembourg", which was exhibited in a Luxembourg square as part of a show staged by Enrico Lunghi, director of the Luxembourg Modern Art Centre.
