ZAGREB, Nov 23 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan opened the new building of the Croatian Auto Club in Zagreb's neighbourhood of Utrine on Saturday. Present at the opening ceremony was also the president of the international
automobile federation (FIA), Max Mosely, and numerous guests from the country and abroad.

neighbourhood of Utrine on Saturday. Present at the opening

HAK president and Culture Minister Antun Vujic said that with more
than 135,000 members the HAK was Croatia's largest non-government
civil society organisation, which this year marked its 96th
anniversary.
Supporting efforts to improve traffic culture and safety in
Croatia, Racan said that the government had forwarded into
parliamentary procedure a new bill on traffic safety.
Jean Meyer, president of the World Tourism Organisation-Region I,
and Peter Doggweiler, director of the World Tourism Organisation,
extended their congratulations on the new building.
