ZAGREB, Nov 6 (Hina) - The government indignantly rebuts all insinuations about its involvement in the recent burglary into the office of the defence lawyers of General Ante Gotovina, Premier Ivica Racan said on Wednesday responding
to allegations expressed by an MP, Ivo Bajica of the Croatian Bloc, who wondered whether the Ivica Racan Cabinet was in any way involved in the burglary when some documentation had been stolen referring to defence of Gen. Gotovina (who has been on the run since the ICTY issued an indictment against him).

"Let such your claim and the claim of Ante Gotovina's lawyer, after
the burglary, be between you and your conscience. I could respond in
the same style, but I won't for the sake of decency, as imputations
must have some level too," Racan said announcing a written response
to be sent to this HB deputy.
Justice Minister Ingrid Anticevic Marinovic refuted allegations of
Anto Kovacevic of the Christian Democrat Union (HKDU) who asserted
that by demanding the replacement of a Split County Court judge,
Slavko Lozina, she would like to entrust some "suitable" judge with
the conducting of war crimes trial of the so-called Lora group.
Kovacevic also accused her of interfering in the Lora trial.
It is not correct that I ask for taking the Lora case from Judge
Lozina and I cannot ask for anything like that, Minister Anticevic-
Marinovic said adding that her request that Lozina be relieved of
his duty as a judge is based on the grounded suspicion that he
committed a crime by causing a traffic accident and failing to offer
aid to a seriously injured person.
