announced the payment of two months' worth of late wages, some 2,000 workers are continuing their protest in the town.

The protesters are requesting written guarantees from the
government that they would not be sacked and that the government
would secure their salaries until the election of a new strategic
partner and owner of the factory.
Labour and Social Welfare Minister Davorko Vidovic and Interior
Minister Sime Lucin, with the presence of Sisak-Moslavina County
Prefect Djuro Brodarac, continued talks Thursday night with
representatives of the unions.
