The ruling coalition party benches said they would support the
revised budget. They believe that the budget is a logical
consequence of increased funds for workers' salaries in line with
collective agreements and the failure to implement reforms.
The Opposition objects that by moving changes to the budget the
government is trying to save funds at the expense of the most
vulnerable groups. This refers to decreased funds for maternity
leaves and baby equipment, school equipment, refugee returns and
the prevention of drug addiction.
The Opposition believes that the government should have discussed
the revised budget much earlier instead of 40 days before the expiry
of the calendar and fiscal year.
The debate on the draft revised budget continues.
