The government expressed satisfaction with the fact that the
Constitutional Court made the decision unanimously, the government
media and public relations office said in a statement.
The government, however, did not voice its opinion about the fact
that the Constitutional Court said it was not within its
jurisdiction to ascertain events, actions and activities in the
time of the implementation of individual liberating operations
because they were of an individual and factual nature.
On October 10, the government requested the Constitutional Court to
voice its opinion on certain constitutional and legal aspects of
Homeland War liberation operations and related authorities and
duties of the Croatian Armed Forces, in connection with an ICTY
indictment and warrant for the arrest of retired General Janko
Bobetko.
