Janaf will remain state-owned as the government wishes to continue
protecting this company through its package of shares, said Linic.
Croatian Bloc representative Ivic Pasalic asked if the government
intended to change the privatisation strategy for companies which
have market monopoly and decide against selling oil company INA,
HEP, and Janaf.
Linic said the government stuck by its proposal to sell 25 percent
of INA shares by the end of 2003.
