Cross erected in memory to Croatian veterans and at the joint grave of unidentified victims of the Homeland Defence War, in Zagreb's central cemetery "Mirogoj".
ZAGREB, Nov 1 (Hina) - On the occasion of All Saints' Day, which is
also a public holiday in Croatia, delegations of state and
government authorities, the parliament, political parties and
associations, laid wreaths in front of the Cross erected in memory
to Croatian veterans and at the joint grave of unidentified victims
of the Homeland Defence War, in Zagreb's central cemetery
"Mirogoj". #L#
The delegation of Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, also placed
wreaths and lit candles in front of the grave of the first Croatian
head-of-state, Franjo Tudjman.
The delegation of the defence ministry, led by Minister Zeljka
Antunovic and army chief-of-staff General Petar Stipetic, laid
wreaths also at the graves of a former Croatian defence minister,
Gojko Susak, and a former army chief-of-staff, Staff General
Zvonimir Cervenko.
Delegations and individuals laid wreaths in front of memorial sites
and in cemeteries throughout Croatia on Friday.
