ZAGREB, Oct 24 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan on Thursday received Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma who arrived in Croatia yesterday, the government's public relations office said in a statement.

The two officials discussed the economic situation in Croatia and
Ukraine and efforts the two countries were investing in joining
European associations.
Kuchma and Racan particularly pointed to the need for advancing
economic cooperation, the statement said.
The Ukrainian head of state also visited the Croatian parliament
and held talks with a parliamentarian delegation, led by parliament
vice president Baltazar Jalsovec.
