The president of the local community, Erne Danon Cipre, said there
are 38 Jews living in Mostar. She announced the opening of a Jewish
centre with a synagogue in the next few years.
More than 3,000 Jews lived in Bosnia-Herzegovina prior to the 1990s
conflicts. Only a few hundred are left.
