The prosecution informed the court that copies of the statement had
been delivered only to three amici curiae and former Yugoslav
President Slobodan Milosevic.
The Montenegrin paper explained that it had received the statement
in an anonymous letter.
The paper carried parts of Samardzic's testimony, including those
referring to the role of incumbent Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo
Djukanovic in the attacks on Croatia, which were not mentioned in
Samardzic's testimony before the International Criminal Tribunal
for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague last week.
