It is difficult to speak about the Prosecution's efficiency when it
is lacking in the space, equipment and the staff, as many employees
leave this job due to low salaries, Novosel said during a
parliamentary debate on a programme of measures for the fight
against economic crime, drug abuse and war crimes.
The State Prosecution depends, to a large extent, on the work of
police and other judicial bodies, and therefore its success should
be observed through the work and success of the said bodies, Novosel
added.
The benches of the ruling coalition's parties supported the
programme, proposing smaller changes.
The benches of opposition parties turned it down and described it as
an imprecise document.
