part in the annul sitting of the International Monetary Fund,
arrived in Washington on Friday evening. #L#
Members of the delegation, who are senior officials of the finance
ministry, will also hold many meetings with representatives of
banks and other financial institutions during the session of the
IMF and the World Bank and after it until the middle of next week.
The meetings should revolve around a new stand-by arrangement with
the IMF.
According to announcements of Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac, the
new arrangement will be based on the government's economic
programme, endorsed by the parliament this summer.
