MPs adopted a bill on investment stimulation in the first reading.
The bill relates to economic sectors in which Croatia has
potential, including tourism, the manufacturing industry, and
research.
Compared to the current law, which has not yielded expected
results, the bill is aimed at stimulating investments into fixed
company assets, while the companies would no longer be divided into
newly-established and existing ones.
MPs also adopted a bill on awards for the promotion of children's
rights, as well as a draft national family policy and a national
programme for the youth.
The parliament continued its session with a debate on a draft
national policy for disabled persons between 2002 and 2006.
