SPLIT, Sept 18 (Hina) - The police do not know whether two of the

If indictees Josip Bikic and Miljenko Bajic get in touch with
police, the public will be informed, the police said.
The two were released from custody by order of the court in May and
failed to return once the Supreme Court overturned the decision on
their release.
The Split County Court should on Thursday resume the trial against
eight former military police officers indicted of war crimes
against civilians in 1992.
The process has been conducted since June 10 without the presence of
the first indictee, Tomislav Dujic, the war-time Lora prison
warden, who has been on the run since the beginning of the process,
while an arrest warrant has been issued against Bikic and Bajic.
The other indictees are back in custody pursuant to the Supreme
Court's decision.
