The admission to NATO will not threaten Croatia's sovereignty, its
defence or strength, but it will enhance them with cuts in expenses
for defence purposes, Minister Antunovic said and added that the
Croatian public must be made aware of the significance of Croatia's
accession to the Alliance and all the transition processes required
so that Croatia's armed forces can accomplish this objective.
The seminar, which is being held between August 30 to September 5,
was organised by the Atlantic Council of Croatia and the NATO
Information Section and the press from Brussels. Some forty
participants are attending the seminar, mostly young scientists,
military staff, diplomats and journalists from south-east European
countries.
