According to the commission's head, Croatia is still searching for
its 1,384 missing citizens.
To date, 3,353 victims have been exhumed, and 2,038 of them have
been unearthed from 135 mass graves, while other victims have been
found in individual graves.
So far, 2,745 corpses have been identified.
In autumn, the exhumation will start in the Yugoslav town of Sremska
Mitrovica where 104 Croatians were buried. Exhumations have been
launched finally in Yugoslavia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, where some
300 Croatian victims are believed to have been buried during the
war, he added.
