If tasks are carried out systematically, there is a serious
possibility that the new cabinet will realise what it has set out to
do in its programme, Tomcic told reporters after today's meeting of
the parliamentary majority which includes the HSS, the Social
Democrats, the Liberal Party, the Croatian People's Party, and the
Independent Liberals.
Tomcic confirmed the parliamentary majority leaders had drawn up an
agreement regulating relations among and the conduct of the benches
and parties of the new parliamentary majority.
He did not elaborate on the agreement, saying only that it was very
similar to the 2000 ruling coalition accord, and that it contained
nothing spectacular.
The new cabinet's programme and composition will be presented in
parliament on Tuesday by Prime Minister-designate Ivica Racan, who
will urge a confidence vote.
