Racan said after a session of his Social Democrats on Monday that
the programme of a new government would be based on the programme
established in March, after the government successfully overcame
the coalition crisis. Racan said the programme would be based on
about ten reforms and development projects which needed to be
completed.
The public should be informed of the programme and members of the
new government by early next week, when an extraordinary session of
the parliament will be held.
Present at the meeting are heads of the Social Democratic Party, the
Croatian Peasants' Party, the Croatian People's Party and the
Liberal party. Also seen outside of the government's building was
Jozo Rados, resigned Defence Minister and leader of the newly
established Bench of Independent Liberals.
