ZAGREB, July 28 (Hina) - According to the 2001 census, there were 1,421,623 flats with residents in Croatia. The figures show that 10.5 percent or 149,279 flats had no flush toilet, and 164,925 (11.6%) were without bathroom.

According to the census, 386,000 people lived in flats with no
bathroom.
There were 90,192 (6.3%) accommodated flats without water supply
system, while about 103,000 (7.2%) were flats without indoor
plumbing.
According to the statistics, 14,850 people lived in 7,349 flats
with no electric power system.
The central heating was installed in 514,000 flats (over 36
percent).
During the census, a total of 1,877,126 flats were registered, and
1,660,649 were for the permanent accommodation. However, 1,421,623
flats had 4,272,590 residents, or three persons per flat.
The number of temporarily empty flats was 196,663, while the number
of abandoned flats was 42,393.
