ZAGREB, July 22 (Hina) - Representatives of the unions, employers and the government on Monday examined four annexes to a "Partnership for Development" agreement which still needs some changes before the signing.

and the government on Monday examined four annexes to a
"Partnership for Development" agreement which still needs some
changes before the signing. #L#
The annexes relate to salary policies, restructuring and
privatising economy, the ratification of Europe's social charter.
The public service unions proposed a fifth annex on education and
science.
Resigned vice Prime Minister Goran Granic told journalists that the
meeting was probably the last with this government and that the
continuation of social partnership would be presented to the new
government.
The president of the Croatian Association of Employers, Zeljko
Ivancevic, said that he hoped the new government would take note of
subsidies for the "Partnership for Development" as it was shown
that assistance based on that document have turned for the better in
resolving some important issues for all social partners
concerned.
The Alliance of Independent Unions of Croatia and the Association
of Labour Unions of Croatia as signatories to the agreement signed
last year, withdrew from the partnership stating that the
government did not fulfil its obligations in the agreement.
