If I am appointed the new premier designate, I will discuss the
reduction of the government with potential coalition partners,
whom I will present my arguments, Racan said before today's session
of the Social Democratic Party's (SDP) Presidency.
Racan said he would not comment on the new coalition agreement or
the composition of the future government until he knew President
Stjepan Mesic's decision about the new premier designate. "Until
then, I will not make any decisions or conduct talks," he said.
SDP officials did not give any statements after the SDP Presidency
session.
