After the meeting, Klein said that one should continue organising
summits between Bosnia, Croatia, and Yugoslavia like the one held
in Sarajevo today. He said the problem of refugee returns and trans-
border crime was common to all three countries and so needed to be
resolved jointly.
In the late afternoon hours, Mesic met briefly with the members of
the BH Presidency - Beriz Belkic, Jozo Krizanovic, and Zivko
Radisic. The participants in the meeting discussed today's
trilateral summit, which they assessed positively.
Mesic today signed a joint statement by the leaders of Bosnia,
Croatia, and Yugoslavia expressing commitment to the inviolability
of Bosnia's borders and protection of its integrity. He held
separate talks with Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica, which
focused on refugee returns.
Following several protocol activities, Mesic took a walk down the
city's old market square Bascasija, accompanied by Croatian
Ambassador to Bosnia Josip Vrbosic and Bosnia's Ambassador to
Croatia, Zlatko Dizdarevic.
