ZAGREB, July 12 (Hina) - Any country that wants to develop in

Work on such a programme should involve not only economists and the
government, but local communities as well, the basic objective
being respect for and the preservation of natural resources which
are of strategic importance for Croatia, he said.
The most important objectives in the programme should be the
reduction of unemployment, and the definition of national,
sustainable, feasible objectives in the economy which could gain
international support, he said.
Radosevic said that President Stjepan Mesic would present this
concept at the forthcoming World Conference on Sustainable
Development in Johannesburg, to take place between August 24 and
September 4 this year.
Pliva d.d. - one of the founders of the Business Council for
Sustainable Development - presented at today's gathering its
publication "Sustainable Growth", which describes sustainable
development in the company.
