The agreement should be signed before the end of the year and come
into force in early 2003.
This is the 29th such agreement for Croatia and the second for
Albania.
Negotiations were conducted by an assistant to the Croatian Economy
Minister in charge of trade policy and international economic
relations, Olgica Spevec, and Albania's Deputy Economy Minister
Engjell Skreli.
The agreement is expected to boost Croatia's cement, artificial
fertiliser, and wheat and food exports to Albania.
